Having invested good money in the Ultima Swimming Pool Controller you now need to ensure that you get to use the full power of the unit. The web connection will take your unit way beyond a machine that just adjusts pH and chlorine levels to pre-determined levels.

Managed correctly it will save you good money. First you might need to know a few things. We have a range of remote monitoring services available to help make that happen.

First Time User Remote Monitoring and Ultima Training

First time users are confronted with a unit full of different functions which can be quite daunting.  We aim to take you through a process that should get you to a point which can otherwise take years.

We do the training by both of us logging on to AquaReporter and conducting the training over the phone.

Initial training includes,

• demonstrating how the different functions work and what the buttons do.
• the very important interpretation of what you are seeing on the various screens.
• how to do a quick check and what to look for.
• how to setup the alarms and the reports in a way that will assist you.
• probe maintenance and its importance.

The trainee will be able to contact us at any time through training period. We monitor the unit and respond to alarms during the full training period.

The process requires a daily phone call at a predetermined appointed time over the first two weeks and beyond if necessary. This allows us to go over the last 24 hours. This is a very important part of the process.

As training progresses,

• we will both start to see a usage pattern forming
• the connection between the different chemicals will become clearer
• we should also be able to see where there are opportunities for improvement

and slowly we will reach a point at which,

• there is a lot less contact between you and us
• the chlorine and pH patterns show stability and consistency
• you are confident you are in control of sanitation management
• you know how to access information to aid with problem solving
• you can identify when problems are starting to occur.

Remote Monitoring Service Trial Period –

3-month contract per unit.

The purpose of the trial period is to give you the opportunity to experience the service. It will however be limited in the absence of a site inspection and access to comprehensive service reports.

The first two weeks will be similar to the first two weeks for “First Time Users”.

They will be intensive because we will need to,

• collect a lot of site information in the absence of a site visit
• establish the level of operator knowledge
• possibly do some remote training

The following weeks we,

• check you site daily, usually early in the morning and early afternoon
• respond to alarms
• respond to questions

Price   $800 plus GST for the first two weeks then at $50 plus GST per week.

Remote Monitoring Service –

12-month contract per unit.

The pre-requisites for an efficient and effective service are

• Site knowledge with usually requires a site visit which is a one-off cost not included this service pricing. That cost is based on,
  • the site
  • number of pools
  • travel distance and time
• Access to testing and service reports

We will then,

• check you site daily, usually early in the morning and early afternoon
• respond to alarms
• respond to questions
• email you alerts to problems we see developing with recommended actions.

Price   $50 plus GST per week
